Scott and Carol's Resume
A Minnesota native, Scott was born and raised in Crosby. Many will know him because of his professional boxing career and having fought names like Mohammad Ali and George Foremen. Scott fought for the heavy weight championship twice in an era of the great heavyweights. Scott is the only fighter in the world to have been in the ring with 11 world champions. Others may know him from his community service and charity work through his 30+ years of living in Andover. The past two years have been extremely busy for Scott. He chaired the exploratory committee for the development of the new Andover Community Center and is currently chairman of the board of the YMCA. In 2004, Scott ran and was elected as an Anoka County Commissioner. His goal is to help our county with transportation problems, continue the development of the commuter rail, and help encourage business growth and development. This includes working hard on the economic improvement which surrounds the Northern Lights development including the Viking Stadium.
Carol is a native Midwesterner but lived 18 years in Colorado. After being promoted she transferred to Minnesota in 1995 and married Scott in 1996. She is a seasoned professional with 20 years experience in sales, education and consulting in the eyecare field. Her strength is in the development of training materials which earned her invitations to speak around the country at professional seminars. Carol is committed to her church and sings with the choir, dedicated to the community through the many charity events that she and Scott participate in.
Together they are a dynamic couple. Whether participating in community events, or working hard to help the citizens of Anoka County maintain and improve the standard of living, their efforts assure clients that their needs come first.
